What comes with you
Everything from Spectora
- Every inspection from Spectora's Inspection Data export: the client, the home (square footage, year built, foundation), the services, the buyer's agent, the invoice and its payments
- Your agents from the Agent Export, with their brokerage and phone numbers
- Your report template, word for word, from Spectora's template export
- Referral sources, client tags and the date each client first booked
How it works
An afternoon, start to finish
- 1
Export from Spectora
In Spectora, go to Settings → Data Exports and download the Inspection Data for every year, plus the Agent Export. Export your template too.
- 2
Upload and check
In iSpector, open Settings → Import your data and choose Spectora. Upload all the files at once and check the preview before anything is saved.
- 3
Import your template
Settings → Report templates → Import a Spectora template. Your sections, items and comments come across verbatim, with no AI involved.
- 4
Go live when you're ready
Imported clients get no reminders or automated messages until you switch over. On cutover day, re-run the import with fresh exports to pick up the latest inspections.
- Undo the whole import for 7 days.
- Imported inspections and invoices stay read-only, so your history matches what you delivered.
- Saved cards are not copied: clients pay with a new card or bank account the next time.
We'll do it for you
Send us your Spectora exports and we'll run the import with you, check it, and have you ready to go live.

Our promise
iSpector never markets other companies' services to your clients
Some inspection software places third-party offers in front of the home buyers you inspect for. iSpector doesn't, on any plan.
No partner offers in your reports
Your reports, portals, emails and texts never carry insurance, warranty, security, utility or moving offers from other companies.
Your clients are your clients
We don't sell your clients' or agents' details, and we don't use them for our own purposes (see our privacy policy).
Only what you choose to offer
Add-ons, follow-ups and campaigns are your own services, sent only when you set them up.
Two things you may see: client pages show a small "Powered by iSpector" line, and if you switch on pay over time in Settings, invoices name the payment options you chose (Affirm, Klarna or Afterpay). iSpector takes no fee on either.

Something else on your mind? Ask us and a person will answer.
Do my clients get emails when I import?
No. Imported clients are held back from automated reminders, review requests and overdue notices until you switch over.
What if the import isn't right?
Check the preview first. After the import you can undo it for 7 days, fix the file and run it again.
Can you do it for me?
Yes. Send us your Spectora export files and we'll run the import with you and check it before you go live.
